CHRIS GRAY
FOUNDER
Chris is a filmmaker and entrepreneur passionate about telling stories. His journey was challenging. For 20 years, Chris worked as a car painter, but he always had the desire to pursue his true passion: filmmaking.
In 2011, he began practicing videography on the side, but it took another two years of hesitating before he finally took the leap and quit his painting job. The following year was tough, working as a production assistant and struggling to provide for his family, but eventually, he found a job at a marketing agency that changed everything.
Chris spent years learning, growing, and honing his craft before starting his own company, Story First Films. It has since evolved to focus on helping law firms with their online presense through video content.
MATT REIS
CO-FOUNDER
Matt has loved film his entire life and started making videos as a young kid using his grandfather’s old camcorder. Growing up, he developed a deep passion for telling real-life stories. The raw emotion that comes from real stories is unlike anything else, and Matt truly loves bringing these stories to life for others to feel and experience.
His early love for film led him to various freelance jobs and video journalism, where he covered multiple stories throughout the country. He then decided to try his skills in a different market while working for a video marketing startup.
Over the last five years, Matt has traveled nationwide, working with hundreds of law firms of all sizes, telling their unique stories.
